Graduation Requirements

Share

In order to earn a diploma recognized by the Bureau of Indian Education, a student must successfully complete minimum credit requirements as outlined in the Indian Affairs Manual Part 30, Chapter 20.    To better support our students, preparing them for whatever post-secondary path they choose to walk, we have implemented additional credit requirements with the full requirements for Chemawa graduation in the table below.  Credit recovery and support classes are available for students transferring to Chemawa after their freshman year, should they be deficient in any course group.

In addition to course credits, ALL graduating students must complete a Senior Capstone Project, as well as take ACT Prep in either their Junior or Senior years.  Information on the Senior Capstone Project may be found here.
