School Board
The School Board for Chemawa Indian School is a partner-in-education. As an advisory board, the membership is comprised of the top 5 tribal enrollments at Chemawa. They serve as a liaison to their tribal communities, and as an advocate for the students and school. Academic progress, achievement and budgetary considerations are all focuses of the board.
Collaboration, communication, and connection are critical to every student's progress, and will enhance the overall efficacy of Chemawa Indian School's forward progress.
SCHOOL BOARD OVERVIEW
The advisory school board strives to ensure that every student graduates fully prepared for college or career readiness. Each school board acts in accordance with the policies outlined in the 25 CFR and 62 IAM to effectively support students, families, and community.
