Kids eating cotton candy and taking photos at the Suicide Prevention Carnival.

Chemawa Indian School’s Two Spirit Group and Hope Squad, a peer-to-peer suicide prevention program, collaborated to host a Suicide Prevention Carnival for the school in March. They organized, planned, and facilitated games, had an arts and crafts booth, face painting, and free popcorn and cotton candy for everyone. The carnival was made possible by a grant that the student groups received.
